Hi everyone :D
This is another two-for-one since I woke up in the middle of the night and had two dreams in total. The only connecting theme I could see between them is that me and my husband were on vacation :D Let me know if you find any other themes connecting the two.
To note, the second dream is also much longer than the first because I remembered quite a lot from it. Enjoy!

Dream 1:
My husband and I were in Japan for vacation and it was really amazing! The best part was that a big brand store was offering free golden strappy sandals for women (for borrowing). The sandals were retrieved at night by workers. But then we could get another pair by going to the store again the next day :D
Everything was going well until my parents decided to go to Japan too. They even got a room in the same hotel and got the hotel staff to tell me to go to their room so my mom could talk to me.
My mom insisted that my husband and I visit them each day in the morning before we headed off to our activities. At first I kept refusing because it would be an interruption and inconvenience since I knew my mom liked to talk a lot and get me angry with the things she said so I definitely didn't want to start each day like that.
After much refusal from me she said she's "not well" in Chinese. She said it twice with a very pleasant but defeated tone. Then I woke up thinking maybe it's time to visit my parents.
Dream 2:
My husband and I were still on vacation, but in a different location. Most likely Canada since there was a Dollarama, but the strange thing was it felt like we were in the United States. Anyway, we ended up in a part of the city that was "odd", but in a good way?
There was a large entertainment complex that looked interesting so we decided to check it out. It was huge like a whole city! There were so many stores and places to go.
The people were really friendly, talkative, and patient. It felt like everyone in the entertainment complex was a big family. The only scary part was that demons also roamed the place and would steal things as they saw fit. The people just told us to let them have what they want and the demons will go away. In our case, the demon said it wanted towels so me and my husband put our recently bought souvenir towels on the ground and the demon took one and ran away.
Interestingly when demons were about to approach, the atmosphere changed and the people either ran away or just prepared themselves to give up their possessions.
After our demon encounter we continued to explore the multitude of stores and eateries inside the complex. And at one point me and my husband decided to split up since he wanted to explore the shops while I wanted to stick around the cinema and food court area.
Another interesting place inside the complex was something like a "waiting room" where people sat around while waiting for others. There were plenty of chairs, but most of the time there were only a few people or less. I liked the room because it was cozy and I was able to just rest and relax, lol.
When I went by the cinema area, I learned that they were going to play a movie called "Halloween Night" later in the evening. There was only one screening room, but it was huge and even had an area to order food from a kiosk. The food would then be delivered to your seat. It was really neat!
I also went by the food court which looked very deserted but somehow businesses were still open? It was really weird. There were a lot of place mats on the tables with shop advertisements but I didn't even see any workers in the food stalls. Maybe they had an ordering system I couldn't figure out.
I bummed around miscellaneous places for quite some time while waiting to meetup with my husband and ended up back at the cinema. At that time there were many people seated and ordering food. Everyone was so amicable even when I was confused about how the seating was determined. Like whether the seats were predetermined or just a free-for-all.
And now that I think about it, no one asked me for a ticket. I guess it was a free showing? Hmm....
Since I was still waiting for my husband, I decided to have a seat close to the entrance/exit doors. From there I was able to see someone using the food-ordering kiosk. Everything was going well, but then the theatre screen glitch and I thought the person ordering food was going to make a fuss, but they were calm and trying to figure out what happened before calling a worker over.
Around that time my husband came in and we decided to go out and explore more.
As I was exiting, a guy who overlooked the cinema area asked if I'd want to stay for the movie since it was starting soon. I asked what was showing (because I forgot), and he said "Halloween Night".
I asked if it'd be okay to come back in a bit because I wanted to think about it and go to the washroom. The guy said normally that wouldn't be allowed since opening the door would let light in and disturb the viewing, but since we were new to it, he would open the door, just this once.
Then I saw him lock the door to the theatre and walk off while saying that I can just let him know if I wanted to watch. He was super friendly. Well, technically, everyone was super friendly. But the door-locking was a "hmmm..." moment for sure. Hopefully the door could be opened from the inside :|

The first dream actually got me to call my parents and schedule a visit since I was worried something was wrong.
And everything from the second dream felt so real and the fact that "Halloween Night" was mentioned on two separate occasions baffled me. I never had a dream be so consistent when there were stretches of time or places in between two points.
For me, visuals and "facts" have a tendency to change constantly which is why coherency is so difficult to convey sometimes.
Have you had dreams that lead you to take actions because it felt like they weren't just dreams, but messages?
And what did you think of the cinema door-locking? I found that a bit suspicious, hmm... Let me know what you think, lol.
Sorry for rambling on, and thanks so much for reading! :D
