WISHES OF THE HEART

Hi everyone, the first part of this dream involved two characters from the show "Criminal Minds" (Derek and Garcia).  I'm hoping that even if you're unfamiliar with the show that the events will still be interesting.

 

*Old Dream - May 30, 2015

*** 

Derek was dying (for unknown reasons) and forgetting about past events.  Garcia tries to get him to remember because she loves him, and supposedly he has also loved her before (more like a confession from the past) but Garcia knows/wants it to be true in the present time.  

* A couple of significant points (not sure why, but I felt it needed to be noted):*  

1. A slow song was being sung by a male country singer. 

2. A country-ish partner dance happening in the background  -  move to right, move to left, slide to the front, spin to the back and move to the right again to start the loop.

Alright, back to the main story now, lol.  I saw an image of Juicy Fruit Gum flash by and then Garcia being frantic because Derek collapsed and was dazed.  She then pounced on his motionless body and yelled at him to remember and to take the gum from her mouth and told him to say that he loves her:  in her words:  "Say that you love me!", "You have to remember that you love me!  Because I love you!"

--- A break while I wake up ---

Sort of continuation of dream, more people are affected by the unknown dying/forgetting condition.  Derek was still the main focus though.  

Shifting away from the unknown condition, the Olympics had come to Toronto and people were celebrating in the downtown core around the Eaton centre area.  

Confetti-like snow was falling from an orangey-yellow sky which made for a most spectacular scene and encapsulated the high energy atmosphere :D  Buildings were lit in a blue hue because Olympic ads were being projected from screens all over the place.

There were a lot of people in the streets making noises and cheering and then one person confidently said they'll make the whole area go quiet.  And with that, the guy whispered something to the people beside him who then whispered to those beside them and so forth and so forth until the whispering reached everyone.  To my disbelief, the whole area went silent within a minute :O  That was pretty amazing of the guy!

I had always enjoyed the relationship dynamic between Derek and Garcia in the show because they were so caring of each other even though they weren't romantically involved.  Though there was that part of me that wanted to see them together, lol.

As for the downtown scene, wow, I remember it so vividly even though it's been over 10 years!  To this day I still wonder whether someone could really quiet down a crown like that.  What do you think? 

TO STAY OR TO GO?

Hi everyone, this is a short one, but I found it was quite the fun little adventure :D 

 

*Old Dream - May 4, 2015

*** 

The Earth was ending due to time/atmosphere (like it's too far from sun etc.)

A small group and I decided to look for other planets to live on.  We "flew" (more like teleported) to three different places to check them out but all of them were smaller than earth with not very much space to live.

Then we went back to earth to discuss ways to bring earth back to a safer/better distance from the sun (eg. Big rockets, explosions, etc).  Though the options all seemed too risky in bringing earth to an even quicker doom, so we just left it and went to the other planets again.

Time passed (like many, many years in dream time) and I decided to call a cell phone that I remembered was left on earth, and you know what?  Someone answered :D  I really didn't expect that since I was just doing it for fun, I really thought the earth would have been gone by then.  It was really nice to hear it was still alive in some way and people found a way to survive for so long.

Reading on this again I feel like maybe there was another way other than flying off to another planet.  It feels kind of like abandoning my home especially after finding out that people were able to survive :(   

What would you guys do if the Earth was ending?  Would you stay and try to survive or find a way off to another planet?

PICKING UP SKILLS

Hi everyone, this was a fun one, I really enjoy video game-themed dreams.  I hope you enjoy too :D 

 

*Old Dream - Early 2015

Me, and a bunch of other people were playing a newly released game.  It seemed like an RPG/MMO since there were many players on the same stage.

The perks of the game was that there were special abilities spread around the world and if you can find them you can absorb their power to gain an ability (eg. Bird = flying ability).  These abilities were brightly coloured and shaped like cubes to stand out from the environment but also decorated to blend in.  So some were easy to spot and others more difficult.  

Also, at the end of each boss level there was a special ability just lying around the area and you didn't even have to defeat the boss to get it.  For the ones who were skilled enough, they were able to reach the abilities and absorb them before the boss got to them.

There were also player levels, and as you leveled up you got fighting skills, and there were two types.  

1. Jumping / non fighting 

2. Fighting skills but they were called something else because those were the only skills that could get a bosses attention (aggro) that could help other players who were getting beat up.  

There were also item pick ups/purchases that helped along the way and gave you supplementary skills.

The levels were big and had lots of scenery like forests and tropical areas, castles and architectural things.

Looking for ability cubes was really fun, I even got one in the boss area by stealthily sneaking around!  I don't remember all the abilities I got, but definitely flying for sure.  What abilities would you want to find? :D

 

FULL CIRCLE

Hi everyone, here's another dream about me needing to help a group out.  I really wonder why I keep having these types of dreams, lol.

 

*Old Dream - February 17, 2015

I was captured by a gang of mobsters and had to play their "game" of finding and electrocute people who could turn invisible.  I didn't target anyone though since I didn't want to participate in the game.  And for refusing to "play", I got taken out and thrown into room with others who didn't listen to the rules and were gonna be punished.  

I took that chance to rally everyone into agreeing to try to escape.  Funny enough it was pretty easy to escape.  We had to run down a bunch of stairs and ram through a door which wasn't guarded or anything.  Then run through a long tunnel to the exit door and we were free :D  The mobsters eventually found out and tried to capture us again, but we all got away by separating and running in directions all over the place.

Then suddenly I was in an apartment talking to an old lady and a teenage girl.  We were talking about the tragedies/bad things that were happening around the city.  Then it was time for them to leave but the girl insisted on going out to the balcony so I led the old lady to the elevator first.  

The girl stood on the balcony for a while, I wasn't sure what she was gonna do, and then she started climbing down.  We were at least 18 floors above the ground and she just climbed down like it was nothing :O  I was definitely scared for her, but while she was climbing she was also talking to me, saying there was a place I needed to go, special people I needed to meet.  She told me they were gonna find me.  I had no idea what she was talking about, I thought she had gone a little crazy so I just ignored her.  

The next day I was out doing errands around the city and a lady I met during the escape came up to me and we started chatting.  She told me I possessed a special skill and that it was needed to help their side win the battle.  I was confused but continued to listened.  She said she had to take me somewhere to show me what she was talking about so I agreed to go with her.  Then she just gave me a little push from the back and *woosh*, we were standing in a snowy field filled with people wearing white and uniforms lined with gold.

I stood still in amazement at what I was seeing, also considering I just got transported there in a blink of an eye!  The lady brought me to the leader of the group who was also a lady.  I wonder if that's just a coincidence, or chance that all my encounters so far have been with females, hmm.. Anyway, the leader tells me that I am being recruited because I have a special skill, what skill?  Invisibility!  Although I didn't know how to use it :|  

The leader showed me around the base and told me their goal was to help people in need.  Especially those who have been captured by the mobsters who I escaped from in the beginning of my dream

To evaluate my skills as a new candidate I had to play a 2d black and white pixelated platformer with top down dungeon exploration to find items to show what I was capable of.  Then I woke up.

I really wish this dream had gone on longer since I'm curious whether I would have been able to activate my "invisibility" skill.  I think it would have been fun to run by all the mobsters unnoticed, lol. 

PEACE OF MIND

Hi everyone, this dream might be a bit confusing, but hopefully still makes enough sense (as much as a dream can, lol)  

*Old Dream - Early 2015

I was chosen to be part of a group that was fighting the government by ape-like beings that had the ability to sense emotions and thoughts, eg. fear and hostility.   

Prior to being chosen, the ape-like being was rampaging the store I was in and scaring people, sometimes pushing/grabbing/throwing them. It ran my way but gently pushed me aside to get to other people, and that's when I had a feeling there was more to it.  I had many questions in my head, like:  Why such aggression?  What did it want?  What is it trying to do? 

It came into the store twice in total.  After the first rampage it left, then maybe a couple hours (dream time) later, it came back but people were already hiding because they saw the ape-like being heading back to the store.  Everyone hid in the storage room and I just told everyone to stop thinking negative thoughts and stop being afraid since it worked for me.  

I went out to face the ape-like being, and thought it was scary, though I tried to hold only positive/neutral thoughts.  It raised its arms towards me and wrapped them around me and sat down on a nearby chair with me sitting on its knees; sort of like I was a child.  I was confused, but since it wasn't hurting people, I was happy to go along with it.  I also took that chance to ask it questions like where it came from, and how it knows how to talk because it was talking to me earlier.  

It then started to tell me where it came from; I don't really remember... It was either created by the government or came from outer space and was captured by the government and used as a weapon, but then it was set free by a group of people who opposed the government's use of the creature, and since then it has been going around looking for others who might be able to help their cause because there are more ape-like beings still captive at the government's headquarters.  

I agreed to help.  And the next thing I knew I was transported to a place where people were shooting guns and things at me, and lucky for me I was equipped to fight them also, lol. (the magic of dreams!). At first it was a bit hectic since everyone from my group was fighting and things were happening everywhere.  Then I split up with my team to find other enemies.  Here are the encounters I remember:

- One guy was fighting with a sword so I also used one.  Don't remember too much except there was a long stare down at the beginning and then it was over, and I was still alive, yay!

- Two guys shooting at me, one on the ground, one on a roof top, I killed the guy up top first, and shot the guy on the bottom twice but he wasn't dead yet and I ran out of bullets, luckily my team mates helped me out there.

- Guy who looked like a pair of socks threw bombs at me.  I kept trying to throw them back at him, but they weren't very strong :/  I then noticed some lasers and decided to back him into them.  It worked! -- But it didn't :/. He just walked right out and said it didn't kill him because he was carrying a water bottle filled with a tar-like substance.  I took the bottle from him and splashed him with it, and he melted, lol.  My (dream) logic is the lasers heated the tar even though the bottle was cool to the touch. 

Somehow I could feel that was the final guy, or at least the final major baddie, it was like fighting a bunch of mini bosses, lol.  Then I woke up

I remember after waking up I was wondering whether it was really just a dream, or was it another universe.  I mean, a lot of dreams feel like other universes, but this one in particular felt so whole, like that there was way more going on beyond the walls of my dream.  And even after all these years, the environment still feels tangible and real.

Hi everyone, I just realized I had posted a dream twice because I didn't note that it had been posted in the Word doc that I am copying from.  I'll try to be more cautious of that in the future by re-reading all my old posts first.

The post in question was called "Shocking Connections" posted on January 21st 2026.  I was looking back and saw a previous post called "Mind the Connections" which was about the same dream and so "Shocking Connections" has been deleted.

LOST IN SPACE

Hi everyone, this is a pretty short one, enjoy!

*Old Dream - Early 2015

*** 

I was floating around lost in space and then landed on an island that had a deserted damaged/run down laboratory/space station.  

Inside the building there was a giant green pipe (sort of like the Mario game pipe) sticking out from one of the walls.  As I got closer, a monster leapt out and tried to grab me.  I jumped away and ran to hide, but as I got further, I realized the monster was actually stuck in the pipe.  

My view then changes to an outside/side view of how the monster was stuck in the pipe: its butt was outside on the other end of the pipe, the body was inside the pipe, and the head was the only thing that was close to coming out.  The monster was purple, and shaped like a caterpillar. I just left it there since it was scary, lol.  

Then I went outside to see if there were any other nearby buildings that can help me, but then saw debris coming my way that looked like some sort of asteroid storm and a smashed up space station :O  

Fortunately the space station landed intact and there were survivors :D  They told me they were going to go back to earth by riding a giant piece of the space station.  I was skeptical since I knew the heat from re-entering the atmosphere would kill us, but I decided to go along since I didn't have any other ideas and it felt possible (I know it wouldn't work in real life, but yeah, lol). 

Thankfully in my dream it worked!  Lol, and I was on my way home then I woke up.

Of all the fears I have, floating around or being lost in space is definitely on the top.  I don't have any plans of becoming an astronaut so the chances of it happening are next to nothing, but just the thought still scares me, lol.  It's also because sometimes I have dreams where I start floating up into the sky and have the hardest time figuring out how to get down, or I have to hold on to something long enough for the floating to stop.  Those are scary times :|
