UNDER THE SEA

Hi everyone,

I’m sure there are times when you have to make a choice between two or more paths, but you’re not really sure which one is best in the long run (or short run).  I had a dream like that, and sure, it’s just a dream, but I feel there’s something more to it.  Anyway, here it is :) (The more coherent parts at least, lol)

*** Some sort of war was going on.  I don’t remember if it was the whole world, or just where I was.  The invaders looked human, but they weren’t because they came from outer space.  There were clashes going on everywhere at the city I was in.

I was part of a defensive team and I had to battle a really big, muscular guy, who looked really angry.  He was wearing spiky brown armour and had a short blade weapon.  He pretty much just lunged his blade at me, to my surprise I actually dodge it fully and was able to grab the weapon and forced it from his hands :D At that point he surrendered himself.

It was a long and messy battle, but the rest of my team was also successful with apprehending the baddies, and I thought everything was gonna be fine, but then I was approached by one of the leaders of the defense team and asked if I would take on a very important task.  He explained there was no way of knowing when the task would be over, and whether it was necessary, but the task was to stay on watch for incoming threats in the future because the invaders would have to pass by a certain area to get into the city, but the guard post is very deep under the sea that is full of toxins.

Until that point I was woman while fighting the baddies, but when the leaders asked me about the guard posting, I was a man (I know it sounds strange, but I know these things, lol).

When the leaders told me the woman I loved was the only one who decided to take on the guard post, I was left with a tough decision….follow her into the sea, not knowing what will happen between us, or stay with my family and friends on high ground?

I decided to take a chance and accepted the task.  Both the woman and I were transported deep below the surface; we had our own little look out base.  The water was yellow so everything at that point looked yellow.  The most interesting thing for me at this point is we didn’t have to wear breathing masks, we just breathed underwater, and it was quite the feeling, strange, but cool, lol.

The atmosphere was nice, quiet, peaceful, I was with the woman I loved.  I felt a little sad that we were in isolation from everyone else, but it was my decision and I had no regrets.  After what felt like months, I got really curious about what else is around and decided to open the door (though I wasn’t supposed to), and toxins started flowing in :/  It was just a little, but it smelled like rotting garbage on a hot sunny day (bleh!).  It’s a dream smell I’ll never forget, lol.  Then I woke up  ***

Thanks for reading :D  I didn’t expect it to be this long, but I guess I have lots to describe sometimes, lol.  If there's anything you'd like to say or ask about the dream feel free to comment :)

Here's a little doodle of the room I was in.  It didn't look like this exactly, but drawing from a dream memory is tougher than it seems, lol.

I had rock chairs!  How fitting :D
