SWEET SLOPES

Hi everyone,

I was gonna post this last week, but I wanted to do some art for it, but then the art was taking too long, and now my internet is wonky, so I decided it's best to just post it, lol.

 

Sometimes I wonder whether my mind is trying to tell me something through my dreams, or if it just likes scaring me for fun  >_<

*** I was with a group of people, I didn’t know anyone, but I could sense they were my friends.  We were walking through a small outdoor shopping area.  We walked passed lots of clothing shops and found a really nice dessert place.  Me and one other person went in to eat a delicious chocolate ice cream brownie cake-like dessert  :9 Even though it was a dream, the brownie tasted amazing, lol :D  Then my friend says she knows of a place with even better desserts so I asked her to bring me there.

We walked across the street to a place that looked small from the outside but was really big on the inside.  Turns out it was a rowdy night club @_@ (so not my kind of place), but I really wanted the dessert so I went in anyway, lol. 

I walked up a long flight of stairs to the bar, but before I even get a chance to order, my friend says it’s time to go… aww… no dessert :(  So we headed back to the stairs, and all of a sudden I noticed I was wearing a sparkly pencil dress, and really high silver heels (maybe 3-4inches – I don’t wear heels, so yeah, that’s tall for me :P).  I was about to take my first step down but there were no stairs :O  Just a long, steep, gravel slope; almost vertical!  Running down with shoes would have been nearly impossible, but in heels?  I would have wiped for sure D:  Not to mention I have a big fear of going down steep slopes :S  My heart was beating so fast.  I just thought for a moment.  The exit doorway was glowing with light; I was determined to make it out somehow.  I took off my heels and sat down beside the hand rail and slid down while holding on for dear life.  I made it down without making a face plant (thankfully), but I never want to go through that again :/  and then I woke up. *** 

The dessert part was amazing, but why the slope?  It’s not like I don’t have enough fears, or worries already.  Ah well, I got through it, I guess that’s the important part.

OPEN DOOR; OPEN PATHS

Hi everyone,

So two nights ago I had not just one scary dream, I had two… (well, actually it was like a half scary dream, lol)…

1^st dream:  I was in my living room watching TV, but then I was getting quite tired so I decided to head to bed.  I was sleeping comfortably until I felt thirsty and headed out of the bedroom to the kitchen area and that’s when I noticed the front door was slightly opened and someone was trying to stuff a blue jacket through the opening. 

I opened the door and asked the guy what he was doing, he said he found the jacket in front of the door and thought it belong to me so he was trying to return it.  I told him the jacket isn’t mine, but I thanked him for trying anyway, and l kept the jacket with me so I can turn it in to security later. 

I didn’t think too much about it at first, but then I started to wonder why the door was open in the first place.  Then a few scenes flashed by of me bringing the trash out and leaving the door open after coming in…. my heart sunk....I couldn’t believe I had made such a mistake…. I took a quick look around to find there was an empty space on my sink counter where the phone and toaster oven should be :O  Oh dear!  I was thinking the worst at that time, so I ran around to see if anything else was gone. I wasn’t worrying so much about my things, but I definitely didn’t want to see any of my boyfriend’s things gone because of my mistake.  TV: check; game consoles: check; games: check; sofa: check.  So much was still left behind, thank goodness, but the washroom and my computer room was totally messed up :(  Then I woke up (Phew!) – I went to check the door afterwards, lol

2^nd dream:  I was part of some sort of security force; it was my job to capture a group of criminals that was terrifying the city.  My sister worked alone, she wasn’t part of the security force, but she was protecting the city in her own way.  She had crazy ninja skills and acrobatics so she was wrecking lots of havoc upon the criminal organizations :) 

Then my dream cuts to a scene where the enemy leader was chasing down and trying to eliminate my sister.  It was a heated chase, both of them climbing walls, dodging projectiles, and jumping from building to building!  I’m surprised I was even able to follow them since I didn’t have such skills, lol.  The enemy was so close to catching her but then I found an opening and jumped him from the side and captured him instead, and my sister was able to escape.  That’s was too close!

The rest of my dream was a lot tamer.  I was talking with the enemy leader in a large building with a tall blue domed ceiling, and interestingly, even though he had such a tough-guy reputation, he was actually a nice guy!  I was shown a scene of him picking up something thrown out on the sidewalk that looks like a hanging mobile with little balls of different colours.  I couldn’t make any sense of what he’d do with such a thing, but then he explained that it was the missing piece to the planetarium.  What?  I still didn’t understand.  Then he said to look up, and lo and behold, right below the domed ceiling was the small mobile he picked up which had turned into a massive structure displaying the solar system.  It was a quite sight to see.  Too bad the guy went down the wrong path though….

Well, definitely out of these two dreams, the first was way scarier.  It felt so real, and in my dream, even my sleeping felt real, lol.  I’ll definitely keep an eye on my door a lot more closely since my memory really isn’t the sharpest at time. 

The only scary part in my second dream was when the enemy was chasing my sister, but after that, it was a nice dream :)  I think it was trying to remind me to follow a path that’s truthful to who I am and not what others are expecting of me because more often than not I put other people’s happiness before mine, and I know in the long run, it might lead to regret.

TV, Art, and Food -- 4 Short Dreams :)

Hi everyone,

Here are snippets from dreams I had two days ago.  They were pretty random so I’m gonna write just a short blurb of what I remember from them :)

1^st dream:  I was watching what looked like an episode of “Dancing with the Stars”, but interestingly there was more than just dancing.  The Stars (celebrities) and Pros (Dancers from the show) were paired up to show off their “Talents” whatever it was.  It was up to the Pros to help out the Stars to figure out how to showcase their talents in the best way.  For anyone who watches “Castle”, Mr. Castle was one of the celebrities, lol.

2^nd dream: I was enrolled in an art class that was held in a large architectural building, there was lots of brick work, and arches. The ceiling was really high.  In short, the building's interior was beautiful :)  Though when the halls were empty it was a bit creepy because the hallways were dark when nobody's walking through them.  The art classes felt more like "art supplies buying sessions" since the teacher just showed us products that would be good for us to buy, lol.

3^rd dream: I was watching and episode of “Hell’s Kitchen” but Gordon Ramsay didn’t yell at all (like in the real life show).  He was the nicest guy ever, and was supportive of whatever gets cooked, and helped the cooks improve.  He even let the cooks have a free day in which they could do whatever they wanted, roam the city, go to the beach, have fun and relax, etc.  There was some really lovely scenery near the end; Ramsay and another cook were walking along the beach with the city buildings in the background.  The sun was setting and everything was golden yellow.  The sky and clouds were shades of blue, orange, and purple.  I wish I could’ve stayed in this dream a little longer, lol

4^th dream: I just came home from grocery shopping with my sister.  After we put all the groceries away I noticed there was a large puddle of water around the stove and was wondering where it was coming from since there weren’t any liquids near the stove.  I just wiped it up since there was nothing else I could do, but after I did that I noticed there was still a carton of milk on the counter behind me :/  It was out for at least a few hours so I chucked it, though I felt sad since it was newly bought :/

I know, not really the most exciting, but still fun nonetheless (except the milk part).  I’m guessing since I’m dreaming so much about TV shows that I might be watching too much TV, or not enough (more likely) and that my dreams are compensating, lol.  I just began the new season of “Dancing with the Stars” yesterday.
