MIND THE CONNECTIONS

Hi everyone,

The night before I had a pretty fun but hectic dream.

I was with group of people exploring a dangerous forest. It was sorta like a video game. We had health bars, we were wearing armour, and had weapons, and we sometimes found weapons on the ground or could buy them from a store.  I remember buying what was considered the strongest sword of the land (it looked sort of like Cloud's Buster Sword from Final Fantasy Vii), but when I equipped it, it caused me to lose all my health because it spewed out electric shocks :|  Strangely I didn't die, I just felt really tired afterwards.  Supposedly I didn't have the right gloves to hold the sword (if only the store clerk told me beforehand...). 

Another very powerful sword was being guarded by a white mantis ray with a unicorn head. The first time we encountered it we just ran.  The second time, I decided to go for the sword and actually managed to grab it, but then the unicorn mantis kept chasing me and the group shooting projectiles at us.  We had to hide underwater in a special protective pond that had a piece of land in the centre which was the reason for the barrier.  Thank goodness for the island.  But the barrier didn't last forever and we had to run again, but I didn't want to run anymore, so I took out the dangerous sword I bought at the store and wrapped it with a ton of armour cloth hoping I wouldn't get shocked again.  And it worked :D. I was able to hold the sword without losing health, I aimed the sword and shot a charged beam at the unicorn mantis.  I knocked it down, and again we ran, lol. 

Then I all of a sudden I was at my sister's workplace while they were having a party.  I was there to learn about special printing machines that print images based on the connections you make with someone, so the more acquaintances and friends you make the more different images the printer can turn out.  It was a neat machine :)

Then I was looking at a new house with my father and sister. It was a big house, and nicely furnished with tables and appliances, and it had a garage, but I didn't like the stairs leading to the second floor.  There were too many small steps, and too many small landings.  It took a long time to get to the top.  One of the rooms had a second potential buyer who was already setting up their stuff in the room, we were a little shocked but continued looking.  The realtor was trying really hard to sell the house, he even cooked us dinner and made cake for us. The food was all setup in the second floor kitchen. I don't remember eating, but we finished the house tour and told the realtor we'd think about it.  He gave each of us a squishy orange foam house toy on the way out.  

Then I went back at my sister's workplace and stuck the house on one if the cork boards, funny enough someone else also came to stick up their foam house toy, turns out the competing buyer was one if the workers, lol.  Then I woke up.

I enjoy having such active dreams, but I usually wake up tired :|  I wonder if that's the dream's doing, or if I just need more sleep?  I also really want a foam house toy now; it was like stress-ball material and so cute, lol.

INTO THE STORM FOR GUMMIES

Hi everyone,

How've you been?  Sorry it's been like forever since my last post :(  I definitely want to post on a regular basis, so here's hoping this will be a good start :)

The night before I had this funny and scary dream that a big thunder and lightning storm was heading into the city, but instead of going home, I went to a grocery store :|

I was with my boyfriend walking around and shopping in Toronto's east end, close to Cabbagetown when I hear people shouting that a storm is heading our way.  At that time, the weather looked fine to me, the sun was shining and not a cloud in the sky.  I didn't know what the people were talking about, and my boyfriend and I were heading home anyway.  So we ignored them and continued walking on. 

Then out of nowhere, big gusts of wind started blowing at us; garbage started flying around, and the trees were starting to get bent out of shape.  I was starting to get worried, but still no clouds in sight so I thought it might have just been a freak little wind storm.  My boyfriend didn't think much of it either so we just continued at our regular pace.  Lots of people started running, I could tell they wanted to get home ASAP.  I had no fear, I was so close to home... but...OH DARN!  I forgot to buy something :O 

I'm not sure what, but I knew I needed it.  It was at that moment, the clouds started rolling in and the winds were picking up again.  I told my boyfriend I needed to go back to the store.  He tried to talk me out of it, but I convinced him I'd be fine; the store was only 10 mins away, and I knew I could make it home before the storm arrives.  He was reluctant, but let me go, while he headed the rest of the way home.  Now, it was my turn to run on the streets (how ironic, lol...), but as I had thought, I was at the store in no time :D 

At the back of the store there was a window through which I could see the storm starting in the west end of the city so I knew I had to be quick, but instead of just grabbing what I needed, I saw sour gummies on display and I figured since I was there anyway, why not grab some (my boyfriend loves sour gummies :D ).  But "some" turned into "a lot", and the storm was only getting closer every time I looked through the window.  I went in to pay for my items, but all the lights are off, and there's another person ahead of me, and he's just talking like nothing's going on :|  I was giving him the evil eye the whole time until he finally got the idea and left.  The dark setting was definitely eerie, but the cashier was nice and quick with my transaction (thank goodness).

As I stepped out of the store, the sky turned the darkest shade of grey, the winds were gusting like crazy, flashes of light and bangs of thunder were happening all over, and raindrops were coming down like they were all racing to the ground.  Why did I buy the gummies again? Aye....:(  I had no choice, I had to get home before things get even worse, so I started running, but strangely instead of shoes, all of a sudden I was wearing platform high heels :|  I don't know whether I was being punished for ignoring the storm warnings, or because I spent so much time deciding which gummies to buy.  Sad to say I didn't run very far before falling over, so I took them off, and that's when I woke up.

Not sure what this dream is trying to tell me other than maybe to not think so long about small decisions, and to do what I'm supposed to do first and then what I want to do if I have time.  What do you think this dream is trying to tell me?

DREAM OF ZOMBIES and DEMONS!

Hi everyone, I must be too into the Walking Dead TV show at the moment since I've had a few zombie related dreams recently but last night had lots of zombies since I dreamt I was in the Walking Dead world and was part of the main team of survivors; Yay! … But not really, since it’s a dangerous world to be in, lol.

I dreamt our group’s goal was to find a good place to use as a hideout but we had no idea where to go.  We were in a grassy field and there were lots of trees around, and a few pathways.  We stuck together as a group for the most part, but then I got a little curious and strayed away from the group (bad idea, of course).  I came across an old, dilapidated stone building, in the middle of a forest.  The bricks were of yellow and rust colour, and it was pretty tall.  I went inside to see what it was, and was told by someone who worked there that it was a government facility that was setup to search for what they called the “Ultimate Demon”.  Yeah... I’m trying to survive zombie attacks, and these people are trying to create a demon, how wonderful :/

The facility had one hallway with many small rooms on both sides, and one big room at the end which contained what they considered the key to unlocking the demon power.  I never got to see the key item, but supposedly it was some sort of hammer-like weapon, and a special helmet that would amplify the power even more, and all the person would have to do to unlock the demon power (if any existed) was to hold the weapon.  What were these people thinking?  I don’t know, but many people came from far and wide to test themselves, and people in denial of non-existent demon powers were allowed to stay in the small rooms along the hallway and test themselves again at a later time, and there were many occupied rooms.

Then I started to get this sickening, uneasy feeling, and I got quick scene flashes of someone walking into the facility’s big room, and of all the non-demon people crawling up into vents in their rooms.  I knew what was coming next; I felt the building rumble, and a strong essence; I had to get out ASAP :O  I got into one of the small rooms and locked the door.  I tried climbing a vent, but it was too small, and there were bars on the window… I thought I was a goner… I peeped through a glass pane on the door and saw the “Ultimate Demon” pass by, it didn't even care to look my way.  Phew!… Thank goodness…

I ran out as fast as I could to rejoin my Walking Dead group and told them what I saw, and how we were in even more danger than before because the Demon was way faster, and stronger than a zombie, and could actually think beyond just wanting to eat (I saw scary, indescribable things before reaching the group).

We bolted from where we were and kept moving along a forest pathway, we pretty much ran all night into the morning before we found a nice place; quiet, and sunny, like a beach.  Then out of nowhere a lady started walking our way, and we approached and questioned her.  She assured us she was there to help.  We were still a bit weary of her, but decided to trust her.  

Then as the day became night, we saw people wearing colonial military uniforms walking towards us from behind a hill and asked us if we wanted to watch a historical re-enactment, and they started shooting guns and stuff and we yelled for them to stop because the noise would attract the zombies.  Luckily they heard us and stopped.  Then the view pans to where the soldiers were coming from and it turns out we settled right beside a big government base that the stranger lady was a part of.  We were so relieved because they said we could stay there as long as we needed.  Then the view started panning away like at the end of a show and I started to wonder if this really is the end safe place. Hmm…. I guess even dreams have cliff hangers, lol... *sigh*

Phew, that was a long one, thanks for reading :D  I definitely think The Walking Dead is one of my favourite shows at the moment.  I only started recently since a channel I like to watch started showing the series from the beginning and I never saw any of it before.  I’ve only played the video game based on the show, but the show is way different. 

Plus, I do wonder from time to time, how I’d survive if a zombie apocalypse really did happen, lol.  I’d probably try to find a nice tall building and make that my home after blocking all the doors and windows.  I’m hoping the zombies are not good climbers, lol. What would you do?

Hi everyone, sorry for the long and sudden absence ^^'....  time management has not been on my side lately, lol... though fear not, I'll make more effort to blog more regularly even if the dream is just a short one, like the one I'm gonna write today :)

I dreamt that I found a small plastic jar containing water that I had sealed up and forgotten about.  Sounds harmless, right?  Well.... when I looked into it, plant life had grown :O  Green leafy things swaying side to side.  The water turned dark green.  There was even small fish-like things swimming around.  It was like watching a nature show about underwater creatures.  Then I noticed there was something hanging like a sack from the underside of the lid...I couldn't believe my eyes... it was a group of spiders! :O  Sizes ranged from tiny tiny small babies to a giant one with legs that were about 3-4 inches long!  I'm fascinated by spiders, but that totally freaked me out.  I took a closer look and saw baby spiders running around the sides of the jar.  The jar was left alone for more than a month so it was miraculous anything lives there, not to mention there was nothing but water in the jar to begin with.  I didn't want to destroy the life that had grown inside, but I also didn't want to risk any strange spiderlings or new species of anything escaping so I did the next best thing; I sealed up the jar even more with layers and layers of tape and padding around the lid so the closure was more secure.  I was also in search of bigger plastic containers that I could put the jar in for extra protection.  Unfortunately someone saw me with the jar and was trying to see what it was, but I definitely didn't want them to find out what had happened so for the rest of the dream I spent my time taping up the lid and finding ways to hide the aquarium.

I must say this is one of my most fascinating and scary dreams to date.  Especially since something like that has actually happened to me in real life already :/  Not as scary as new creepy creatures, but I did have strange mushroom like things growing in a sea-monkeys aquarium that I left some water and clay in and forgot about.  I wish I took pictures, but I was freaked and chucked the whole thing out :/

Little Tid Bits 1

Hi everyone,

I hope you’ve all been doing well :D  Sorry for the delay, I’ve been having some trouble remembering my dreams recently.  Well, more in that I remember little tiny pieces, so it’s kinda tough to write a nice blurb on.  But I decided I’ll just write the bits I do remember so these bits will be from a few dreams.

-      Monsters invaded the city!  There were friendly ones that sort of looked like Pokemon, and really mean ones that got hungry during the night (the one I saw looked like a giant fanged worm) so everyone had to return to their safe house before the sun set.  The last thing I remember was having to run home with my sister because we spent too much time investigating a monster attack location, lol… it wasn’t funny at the time though.

-      I was hiding in my bedroom when all of a sudden I heard something hitting the window and it turns out a crocodile was trying to break through.  Unfortunately it managed to break through… Fortunately it was a friendly crocodile that could talk! :D  It just wanted a safe place to hide too!  Hiding from what?  That I never figured out :/

-      There was a secret government agent out to get my family for some reason.  They wanted us eliminated because we were a threat of some sort.  Me, my father, and sister were hiding in my elementary school but were discovered :(  I was going to surrender, but then decided I couldn’t give up yet, so I pushed passed the agent and ran into a washroom far down the hallway to think up a plan.  The agent found me eventually and said something I couldn’t hear, then decided to let me go.   Everyone else was safe too (thankfully!).

-      It was a really rainy day and my backyard was totally flooded :/  The water was at least 2 ft deep and I couldn’t see any plants or soil at all.  Then while I was looking around I noticed a patch of bubbling that wasn’t there before.  Lots of bubbles.  I asked my boyfriend if he could see it too, but he couldn’t see it at all even though the bubble patch was so obvious and close to the window.  I wanted to investigate but the rain was still going, and the house doors were keeping the water out.  Hmm… I wish I investigated, lol.

Now that I’m writing these I noticed I’m doing a lot of hiding, lol.  I wonder what it’s trying to tell me…
